Last week, under the guiding wisdom of our colleague, Dan James, the inaugural Science and Sport Meets Parliament. This was a Queensland government initiative. Charles Darwin University PhD candidate, Sam Gleadhill represented the university – the only non QLD based uni invited to present. Sam demonstrated what our research is in regards to wearable technology, not only in sport, but also applications into the workplace and migration to animal monitoring too.
Sam also generated quite a bit of interest in the CDU Exercise and Sport Science degree and how we deliver to students outside of the Northern Territory. Thanks Sam
